Le Shok

About

American garage synth-punk band from Long Beach, California, originally formed in 1997 by Treadwell bassist Asshole Andrew (Andrew Reizuch) on guitar, The Locust keyboardist Joey Juvenile (Joseph Karam) on drums and singer Hot Rod Todd (Todd Jacobs) on bass.

Action League bassist Darryl Licht joined the band as the keyboardist and Over the Counter Rusty (Rusty Cavender) of Treadwell joined on bass with Todd moving to vocals. After the release of their LP they were joined by Shitty Shaan (Shaan Obney) on second guitar.

After the first U.S. tour, Darryl Licht left the band to be replaced by Shaan.
When Asshole Andrew left the band Shaan switched back to guitar and John Fones joined on Keyboards for the second national tour. After that tour Darryl rejoined the group.
Le Shok disbanded in early 2001.

After breaking up, members of Le Shok went on to play with The Distraction, Neon King Kong, FM Bats, God's Iron Tooth, Nazti Skinz, T Cells, and Rats In The Louvre.
