Laura Nyro

American songwriter, singer, and pianist. Born: 18 October 1947 in The Bronx, NYC, New York, USA. Died: 8 April 1997 in Danbury, Connecticut, USA (aged 49). Inducted into Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2010 and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012.
