Lasso

Based out of Tucson, AZ, The Lasso is the solo project of producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Andy Catlin. Formed in 2011, The Lasso has released over 10 albums of original music ranging from hip-hop influenced psychedelia to lo-fi film music, synthy space funk, and experiments in new weird America. Beyond solo work, the Lasso has produced and engineered for Lando Chill, Headlock, Motorkam (BlackDaddy), Maraj, The Go Rounds, Fiona Dickinson, Seth Bernard, Frontier Ruckus, Luke Winslow-King, Cobalt Mexican Wolves, Sacred Strays, and Gitis Baggs. The Lasso is currently working on two full length LPs for 2018 release: a collection of irresistible synth soul titled LASSOUL and a mind-expanding intersection of kosmische music, hip-hop, and space rock titled LASSO UNDONE.
