The Wicked Lady

Little known The Wicked Lady also known as Wicked Lady UK were an original Hard Rock trio from Northamptonshire England active between 1969-1972 who achieved some success though always kept a low profile sounding very close to fellow better known UK bands Free, Status Quo and Stray. However almost no photos of the group playing exist, and recordings made during their existence only surfaced much later after Wicked Lady came to an end. Their name is taken from one unique pub drink available at the time. They are NOT TO be confused with another second group called Wicked Lady an original Allgirl Hard Rock English quartet formed in 1974 who gigged mostly Europe and the UK until about 1981(See Separate Entry "Wicked Lady").
