Laci Boldemann

Composer, born April 24, 1921 in Helsinki, died August 18, 1969 in Munich. After graduating from high school, Boldemann studied conducting and piano at the Royal Academy of Music in London, and his teacher was Henry Wood. At the outbreak of war in 1939, Boldemann left England and came to Sweden where his piano studies continued for Gunnar de Frumerie. Intensive work began, whereby Boldemann established himself. Board member of FST 1963, secretary and treasurer 1963-1969. Member of the board also in STIM and KLYS. Boldemann's pedagogical work included several teaching years at Stockholm's Borgarskola.
