Labreeska Hemphill

American Gospel singer, songwriter and author. Co-founded the Southern Gospel group [a=The Hemphills] with her husband [a=Joel Hemphill]. The couple signed with Canaan Records in 1966 to record as a duo then soon followed with the group. Born in 1940 in Flat Creek, Alabama, USA. Died December 9, 2015, age of 75 in Nashville, Tennesse, USA. Mother of [a3829601] (Joey), [a2615006], and [a1193337], who joined them on stage.
