Kylie Auldist was born in Broken Hill, in far western New South Wales, and moved to Melbourne to pursue a musical career. She is best known as vocalist for funk band The Bamboos, and has recorded four solo albums.
In 2016 Auldist shot to international prominence through to the summer anthem ‘This Girl’ Kungs vs Cookin’ feat. Kylie Auldist. The remix reached #1 on single charts in several countries and has been streamed over one billion times on Spotify and Youtube.
