Son of undefined founder Sam Phillips, Knox Phillips was born in Memphis, Tennessee in 1945. Died in April 2020. He produced for Randy & The Radiants and The Gentrys, and worked as an engineer on recordings by Willie Nelson and Jerry Jeff Walker. He also worked with Jerry Lee Lewis and produced "Pink Cadillac" for John Prine. Son of Sam Phillips. Brother of Jerry Phillips
