Hard rock band originally from Springfield, Missouri, USA, formed in 1979 that combines progressive metal, funk, and soul with vocal arrangements influenced by gospel, blues, and British Invasion rock groups. They were first called the Edge, later on Sneak Preview before settling on King`s X in 1985.
