Kimchii is the artist name of the Stockholm-based producer, DJ and performer Kim Söderlund. Influenced by artists such as CHIC, Empire Of The Sun, Cut Copy, Arthur Russel, Cassius and Toro y Moi, Kimchii moves freely in diverse musical dimensions. Uniting the sounds of disco, house and electro in dreamy ways - always with a deep, energetic and futuristic feel - Kimchii is generating a unique sound that keeps evolving. The year of 2019 was a landmark for Kimchii as he collaborated with the DJ duo Rebecca & Fiona, producing the track ”One More Night (Kimchii Remix)”. His debut single “When You Feel The Time Is Right” was released the following year, on February 6th, by Kitsuné Musique, followed by a second single ”Free Mind”, which was released on Rebecca & Fionas label Big Romantic Music. A remix for Swedish artist GRANT came out in September 2020 and the new track Windsurf was released on December 4th as a part of the compilation Too Slow To Disco - Sunset Manifesto, alongside artists like Poolside, Kraak & Smaak, Satin Jackets, Yuksek and more.
