Kikeiji

Japanese punk band from Tokyo. Kikeiji was originally active for just one year from December 1982 to December 1983. They played the first gig at Kimono-my-House on 12/19/82. Their last performance was at Yaneura on 12/24/83 with Aburadako, Sodom, LSD, Dead Cops, The Trash, Axe Bomber and The Clay. In 1985, they played two reunion shows at Loft on August 22nd and September 30th, recorded and released the “Hello-Goodbye” 7” on Ducasse label. Another reunion in 1993 to play the Masami (ex-Ghoul) tribute show at Antiknock on September 25th, then the third and “final” reunion shows were held at Antiknock, Tokyo on January 7th and Fandango, Osaka on January 8th, 1994. They got back together permanently in 2008. The singer Yasu passed away in December 2021.
