Karen Matheson

Scottish Folk singer, born 11 February 1963. Front singer of Scottish folk band Capercaillie and was a member of [a=Dan Ar Braz Et L'Héritage Des Celtes], with whom she often sang lead vocals, either alone or jointly with [a=Elaine Morgan]. She is married to fellow Capercaillie member [a=Donald Shaw] and received an OBE in 2006.
