Kae (formerly Kate) Tempest is an award-winning spoken-word recording artist, who won the Ted Hughes Award (2013) for their project "Brand New Ancients" (2014). Shortly followed by full album "Everybody Down" (2014), "Let Them Eat Chaos" (2016), "The Book Of Traps And Lessons" (2019), before changing name for album "The Line Is A Curve" (2022).
In August 2020, Tempest posted a statement "I'm changing my name! And I'm changing my pronouns. From Kate to Kae. From she/her to they/them."
