He has, among others, played with John McLaughlin, Bill Laswell, Shawn Lane, Buckethead, Jens Johansson and Anders Johansson. He debuted internationally with a solo bass performance at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 1981, where he introduced his groundbreaking slapping technique.
