John Katzenbach was born in 1950 in Princeton, New Jersey, the son of a psychoanalyst. He learned a lot about the human psyche from her, the depths of which he would later explore in his thrillers. He gained further insights during his years as a court reporter for the "Miami Herald" and the "Miami News". His articles were also printed in several newspapers and magazines. He later went into business for himself as an author. His best-known works, some of which have already been made into films, include "The Patient" and "Revenge". Only one thing is more important to Katzenbach than writing: his family. He lives in Amherst, Massachusetts, with his wife, Pulitzer Prize winner Madeleine Blais, and his children.
