British-American progressive rock and jazz fusion guitarist. At 15, he became a professional musician and joined Carol Grimes' Babylon. He then toured extensively with Alan Bown, and in late 1972 he joined Atomic Rooster under the name Johnny Mandala. In 1974, he became a member of Brand X.
