Jodi Benson (née Marzorati; October 10, 1961) is an American actress, voice actress, and soprano singer. She is best known for the voice of the title character of Disney's "The Little Mermaid", Ariel, of which she reprises the role in both "The Little Mermaid II: Return To The Sea" and "The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning". Benson has since done several other Disney films such as, "Toy Story 2", "Toy Story 3" and the "Toy Story Toon Hawaiian Vacation", as well as appeared in the film "Enchanted", which is also by Disney. She has provided the voice of Ariel in the English adaptions of the games in the Kingdom Hearts series. She has appeared on several Disney compilations for her signature song "Part of Your World" as well as provided the voice of Ariel for many Disney Princess compilation albums.
