Became friends with Ian Dury, moved to London, worked for the Stiff and Charisma labels, started warming up for bands, worked with The Clash, Blondie, Talking Heads, Elvis Costello and the Libertines, toured with Rip Rig & Panic, ... Working briefly as a bus conductor, he received a warning for leading his passengers in mass communal singing. Published one book titled Where is My Heroine? (Castle-Star eds 1992). Father of Poppy Chancellor (1987-2023) and 2 other daughters, Tara and Iris. A documentary about his life by Robert Rubbish is being crowdfunded.
