French guitarist and synthesizer player, born in the 1950. Paulo Vivini is a French musician born in the region of Bordeaux. He started the piano and the music theory in his youngest age, as a teenager he went on with the guitar, rock then classic in the Conservatoire of Toulouse, then in Paris with Elisabeth Lagoya. He studied at the same time the analysis and the composition in the Schola Cantorum and in the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris. In the beginning of the seventies he created the band Paracelse with musicians of the Toulousian psychedelic scene like François Bessac, Christian Foache, Paul Sanchez, Jean Cartini. This band of experimental music played on various stages of the South of France. He joined then, by chance, the international and legendary band, Mother Gong, with whom he played in England and in Spain in front of hallucinated and enchanted crowds. He also participated in the recording of various short-lived and talented bands : The Book of am, Scallywag, Nemrod, Dogon.
