Jack Shaindlin (April 14, 1909 – September 22, 1978) began composing, conducting, and arranging background tracks for the "March Of Time" newsreels in 1942 and went on to produce some of the most memorable music in show business.
Along with partners Robert McBride and later, Cy Langlois, he put together the first stock music libraries for radio, film, and television.
