Basque musician and singer/songwriter born in Irun (Gipuzkoa, Basque Country, Spain, ) in 1960. Older brother of Fermin Muguruza and Iñigo Muguruza.
He founded Les Mecaniciens and after the group disbanded in 1993 started his solo career.
During 1995-2000 he played the accordion in Joxe Ripiau, band founded by his brother Iñigo.
