Bonn was famous for his BBC comedic radio shows, and in the music halls. He mixed in music as well, and had a very loud boisterous operatic singing voice. He made over a thousand radio broadcasts and reputedly had a repertoire of over 500 songs. Bonn retired from performing to become a theatrical agent.
