Iori’s Eyes is a Milan based duo that delivers gentle pop harmonies crafted by vintage keyboards, dreamy and feverish guitar chords, electric whispers with a dub and soul touch. Iori’s Eyes joyful pop music yet with an intimate and nocturnal mood is perfectly condensed in the 12 tracks of their debut full length album Double Soul, an elegant and smart album in which they whip up similarly nonchalant beats to jj and Blake and they master the part organic, part digital dream pop that Beach House and their cronies have created in recent years. However the biggest and most direct influence of the Italian duo that still do feel very modern is the cream of British trip-hop that's on their choppy beats and vocals. The band has raised much interest not only in Italy but internationally. The duo have opened shows for Blonde Redhead, JJ, Local Natives, !!! (Chk Chk Chk), CocoRosie, Goose, The Wild Beasts, Noah And The Whale and Nouvelle Vague.
