Invisible Conga People

About

Started as a duo in 2005, focusing mainly on private, extended improvisations in the basement of Exit Art gallery in Hell’s Kitchen, NYC. Transported a studio’s worth of gear to venues for periodic live shows, and aside from one trip to Japan, performed only in New York. Released two 12-inches of condensed, edited versions of longer pieces from their live set. Moved home base to the “Hint House” loft space in Harlem in 2010 but within a year the building was marked for demolition. Went their separate ways shortly thereafter and Simon has produced all ICP material since.
