Ingeborg Bachmann

Austrian poet and author. She was born 25 June 1926 in Klagenfurt, Austria and died 17 October 1973 in Rome, Italy. In 1977 her city of birth, Klagenfurt initiated the yearly [l1706478] for literature, which counts as one of the most renown awards in the German speaking literature scene.
