Ina Müller was born in 1965 in Köhlen near Cuxhaven as the fourth of a farmer's five daughters. After training as an pharmaceutical-technical assistant (PTA), she worked at two pharmacies on the island of Sylt and in Bremen. She first won renown together with Edda Schnittgard. In 1994 they founded the cabaret duo Queen Bee. On December 12, 2005, they had their last public appearance at the Pantheon in Bonn. In 2002, Ina Müller started to pursue a solo career. In 2007, she began to present her own Late Night Show called "Inas Nacht" (Ina's Night). For that TV-Show she won all awards available for such shows in Germany, for instance, the German TV Price in 2008, the German comedy price in 2008, and the highly respected Grimme-Price in 2010. Ina Müller lives together with her boyfriend, German singer/songwriter Johannes Oerding. In 2009 the couple began to perform live as well. Most of the lyrics to Ina Müller's songs are written by German lyricist Frank Ramond. They are frequently in her local, Northern German dialect, "Plattdeutsch" (Low German).
