    German orchestra leader, arranger and composer, born 02.05.1927 in Berlin, died 19.11.2016 (presumably in Puerto de la Cruz/Spain). From 1945-49 he studied at the Musikhochschule Berlin under Reinhard Schwarz-Schilling. Composer for television, radio and the record industry. For many years he led The Rose Room Orchestra, which he founded and conducted in various formations, as Rose-Room-Dance-Band, The Rose Room Orchestra, Philharmonic Pop Orchestra or Orchester Ronny Winter. The style of his composition work is influenced by classical music.
