Swedish DJ and pop duo that was formed in 2009 by Aino Jawo and Caroline Hjelt who grew up in Stockholm. Icona Pop makes pop music with features of house music and indie pop. They got a record contract in 2009. Their biggest hit is "I Love It", written by Patrik Berger, Linus Eklöw and Charlotte Aitchison (Charli XCX). During a period of work in London, they have received international attention with, among other things, the debut single "Manners". From September 2012, the duo had their base in Los Angeles and in New York, but since 2020 they are back in Sweden.
