Ian Devaney
UK producer, songwriter and musician, born July 9, 1965 in Manchester. He learned to ply trombone and guitar and is also film-maker, as well as a photographer.
He is married to Lisa Stansfield since 1998, who he knows already since their common schooldays in Rochdale. In 1984, they raise the Soul band Blue Zone together with schoolmate Andy Morris. After Blue Zone splits in 1988, he and Morris do studio work together with Coldcut, whereupon Lisa Stansfield gets in touch with Coldcut, which is the starting point of her solo career.
