I-Plant

i-Plant est le projet solo mené depuis 2004 par Mathieu GEORGES aka Tooney Roots. Influencé par le Reggae des 70′s, les productions d’ i-Plant sont définitivement Roots, Rockers ou Rub a dub ! Multi-instrumentiste, producteur et technicien son, Tooney joue la plupart des instruments sur ces productions; Il mixe en analogique et fabrique ses propres effets vintage (Troots-effects) pour retrouver le son qu’il aime tant. Autoprodruit et indépendant avec son label i-Grow Records, i-Plant a déjà produit plusieurs vinyles et albums avec de talentueux chanteurs comme Roberto Sanchez, Ganja Tree, Kiko, Tony tuff, Peter Ranking, Chester Miller, Jah Marnyah, General Jah Mikey , et bien d’autres … i-Plant a également produit des riddims et enregistré des versions au Mélodica pour d’autres labels comme Control Tower records et Tube Dub Sound records.
