    Høstsol

Conceived in 2020, HØSTSOL masterfully fulfills the singular purpose of venerating our Lord of Death. After many years of friendship and collaboration, Shining’s Niklas Kvarforth and Manes’ Cernunnus finally decided to team up in this diabolical entity, spreading their misanthropy by means of a new channel. HØSTSOL’s style is therefore a blend of the best and bleakest of Swedish and Norwegian black metal. Given Cernunnus’ status as one of the genre’s most important pioneers, it seems only natural that HØSTSOL reminds audiences of the greatness of the ’90s while also serving as an omen and pointing bravely ahead to future catastrophes. Beautiful yet raw, HØSTSOL’s otherworldly music is written solely by Cernunnus. HØSTSOL offers merciless sonic assaults executed with veteran precision and a sniper’s clarity of vision. The dense atmospheres are wholly immersive and haunt listeners with their eerily familiar, otherworldly charm. The brilliantly implemented synths lend a cinematic quality, as hellish as they are divine. In our world of environmentally conscious weakling metal, HØSTSOL’s refreshingly cold, hateful, and genocidal propaganda stands as one of the last remaining bastions of hope for utterly hopeless music.
