Human Feel

About

Alternative jazz group combining elements of jazz, rock, and punk, founded in Boston in 1987 by Jim Black (drums), Andrew D'Angelo (alto sax and bass clarinet) Chris Speed (tenor sax and clarinet), Rick Peckham (guitar), and John Silverman (bass). In 1990, Peckham and Silverman were replaced by Kurt Rosenwinkel (guitar) and Joe Fitzgerald (bass). Fitzgerald left the group after the release of their second album in 1991, and the group has since existed as a New York-based bass-less quartet.
