Hugg & Pepp, the dynamic duo consisting of the two cousins John and Jesper Dahlbäck, started out and released late in 2003 their first EP together called Bastratt EP. Since then they have continously kept releasing very high-qualitative releases under their own record label, Dahlbäck Records. They are based in Jespers Globe Studios, Stockholm, Sweden. Their choice of tracknames is based around the title of the EP and they always calls them by the swedish name. For example the "Naken Janne EP" where the four tracks is called by the name of four "famous" swedish sopa-actors. The actual name, Hugg & Pepp, comes from John's father. The night before John was born he dreamed that John would be named Hugge, therefor the name Hugg. Jespers alias Pepp, is a short form for Pepponen which John's father call him by.
