Punk rock band Houba formed in 1995 in Usti nad Labem, Czech Republic. In 1996, they played more than 20 gigs. Their first release "Ficici pes" and second release "Hnus Fialovej" came out in 1997, and the band played all over Czech Republic. The first full-length album, titled "Pan Kac", was recorded at Avik studios in Plzen (Pilsen) in 1999. Following albums include "Kure Punk Pao" (2000), "At von zacvrc" (2002), "Houba/Leniwiec – Crazy Bros" (2004, release also in Poland, Pasazer Rec.), "10 let punkrocku v Usti pod Labem" (2005), "U Silena Nesersrny" (2007), "Split CD s Punk Floid" (2010) a Prisel cas (with folk-punker Tom77, 2012). The band also played in Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Germany, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Belarus or USA (California, Nevada). From 1995 to 2014, the band played more than 900 live shows and sold more than 10.000 album copies.
