Holly McNarland

Born in Manitoba, Canada October 1974 Raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba in a single parent home, Holly's mother often encouraged her to express herself openly and creatively. At age 15, a boyfriend of Holly's taught her a few guitar chords and within a few years Holly had moved from Winnipeg to Vancouver to pursue a music career. Her debut EP was released in 1995 and Holly has enjoyed moderate success in her native Canada. Has been compared to Alanis Morissette & called a "hard-edge" Sarah McLachlan. Avril Lavigne has been compared to Holly McNarland.
