Founded in 2012 by Piotr Bukowski (Stwory, Xenony, Duży Jack) a Warsaw-Bydgoszcz band, which brings together musicians from bands like Ed Wood, Stara Rzeka, Alameda Trio, Pictorial Candi, Tien’ Lai, Innercity Ensemble, captured the audience by storm and quickly earned the reputation of one of the best live bands in Poland. Hokei combines such genres as rock in opposition, noise, kraut, and post rock, and if this still didn’t give you an idea of what to expect, you’ll just need to trust this quartet in its exploration, with great precision and energy, to the borders of a guitar and drum experiment.
