Swedish writer (mainly poet) and translator, born 30 May 1898 in Malmö, died 19 July 1961 in Holmeja in Skåne. He was head of the Radio Theater 1936–1950 and also served as program director during his last years 1949–1950, and a member of the Swedish Academy 1940–1961.
