Danish guitarist and producer [1960-2008] highly influential in Danish music from the beginning of the 80's until his death. Co-founded the synth/punk band Scatterbrain. Gained wider attention with his collaborations with Kliche (Okay Okay Boys) and Lars H.U.G. but it was as part of Love Shop he crowned his career and perfected the dreamy guitar sound, he was associated with. He produced for such artists as tv-2, Elisabeth, Carsten Valentin Lassen, Tomas Ortved and Nanna, his spouse at the time of his death.
Hassig was killed in a traffic incident on 16 November 2008 in Copenhagen as he was hit by a passing cab on the street outside a bar. A memorial concert was held on February 13, 2009, where a number of his former bands re-united to celebrate the influential musician.
He also ran the undefined studio and founded the undefined label.
