British / Australian vocalist Hetty Kate is often credited with an 'effortless' vocal style and natural swing feel. She toured with Australian jazz legend James Morrison for five years, has performed alongside classical pianist Simon Tedeschi and sings with her own groups and big bands around the world. In recent years Hetty Kate has been based in Paris, France, but tours in Australia, Asia and the rest of the world regularly. Memorable moments include being the featured vocalist with the Melbourne, Sydney, Hong Kong, Auckland, Christchurch and Czech Republic Symphony Orchestras for James Morrison's award-winning concert 'The A to Z of Jazz' which yielded a live album that won an Australian Bell Award. Hetty has toured with The Amazing Keystone Big Band in France and portrayed Ava Gardner in Eric McCusker's celebrated musical 'Ava at the End of the World'.
