Hermética was a thrash metal band from Buenos Aires, Argentina. The band was founded in 1988 by Ricardo Iorio after the dissolution of V8 and it was disbanded in 1994, in the peak of their success. Today is considered as one of the most notorious band in the Spanish-speaking countries and as one of the most important Heavy Metal band from Argentina. After the separation, two new groups were formed: Almafuerte and Malón.
