Hermann's career began in South Africa in bands such as the Rag Dolls, and All Night Radio in the early eighties (where he was known as Herman Eugster). He finally struck it big as the drummer for alterna-pop band Ella Mental which eventually tried their luck in Ireland -- but the group fell apart and Mr. Eugster found himself home in Switzerland.

Since then he's performed and recorded with a slew of bands/artists such Edo Zanki, Dead Guitars, Twelve Drummers Drumming, Lilly Martin and the Loop, and, most recently, with a group named "Colours".
