Herman Sherman

American jazz saxophonist and band leader, born June 28, 1923 in New Orleans, died September 19, 1984 in the same city.

By 1941 he began to play with brass bands in New Orleans; in 1971 he became leader of The Young Tuxedo Brass Band.
