    Argued by many to be Canada's first musical export, Henry Burr was the most popular of the many pseudonyms used by tenor Harry McClaskey (others included Irving Gillette, Henry Gillette, Alfred Alexander, Archie Alexander, Ira Allen, Harry Barr, Ralph Brainard, Robert Rice, Carl Ely, Frank Knapp, Al King, Shamus McClaskey, Charles Richards, Harold Spencer, and many others).
