German Army (Heer) Military Band of the Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr), Founded in 1 July 1956 and based in Hanover. Sometimes appears as "Musikkorps Der 1. Panzergrenadierdivision"
Previously the band was located in the 1. Panzergrenadier Division, until 2013 when the band was transferred to the Streitkräfteamt (Office of the German Armed Forces).

The Heeresmusikkorps 1 was founded in 1 July 1956 under the name "Musikkorps II A". In 16 March 1959 the band was renamed "Heeresmusikkorps 1". In 18 September 2013 the band was renamed "Heeresmusikkorps Hannover" and was transferred to the Streitkräfteamt (Office of the German Armed Forces).
