This Harmonica Slim is an American blues harmonica player. He first recorded as a sideman in the mid-’50s for West Coast labels like Aladdin, Spry, and Vita. Spent most of the ’60s working with Percy Mayfield, Harmonica Fats, B.B. King, T-Bone Walker and others. He finally was able to record a full album under his own name for the Bluestime label in 1969.
Others include Harmonica Slim (real name Andrew Parsons and Harmonica Slim (real name Richard Riley Riggins). Slim Harpo (real name James Moore) also recorded under the pseudonym of "Harmonica Slim" at local nightclubs and bars earlier in his career and in 1957 released his first record as Slim Harpo.
