Harmaa

About

Dark folk/neofolk band from Finland, side-project of Tenhi's Ilmari Issakainen and Tyko Saarikko. Formed with intention to continue the ideas of Tenhi's "Airut:Ciwi" EP. Harmaa self-released their debut album "Airut:Aamujen" in December 2004.

In 2005 started working on the second album - and according to Ilmari Issakainen, new album should be more in the vein of "Suruksi Soi", the old song recorded around 2000 that Harmaa released in February 2005 through their website. In February 2006 Harmaa signed to Prophecy Productions to re-release "Airut:Aamujen" worldwide + to release second upcoming album.

But later in August 2006 it was announced that the album will be re-released in October under Tenhi name, so Harmaa merged into Tenhi again and technically stopped.

Lineup:
Ilmari Issakainen - drums, piano, bass (2004-2006)
Tyko Saarikko - vocals (2004-2006)
Janina Lehto - vocals (2004-2006)
Tuukka Tolvanen - backing vocals (2004-2006)
