Harlem World Crew

Harlem World Crew was a name created by Jack Taylor, who owned [l=Tay-Ster] and the famed Harlem World club of the late 70s and early 80s. He spotlighted regulars at the club on the records. This wasn't a group, per se, but a brand that promoted Harlem World's burgeoning hip-hop scene. Rappers who appeared on the handful of Harlem World Crew 12-inches include resident DJ Lovebug Starski, [a=Lady Smiley], [a=Charlie Rock], [a=Son of Sam (7)] and Dr. Jeckyll & Mr. Hyde.
