    Hard Girls

Punk rock trio from San Jose, California. The members also made up 3/4 of Classics Of Love.

Hard Girls formed in 2008, consisting of guitarist/vocalist Mike Huguenor (also of Shinobu), bassist/vocalist Morgan Herrell (also of Pteradon), and drummer Max Feshbach (also of Pteradon). In 2009 they released a split CD with The Albert Square on Silver Sprocket Bicycle Club and the free digital EP Hello on Quote Unquote Records. All three band members also joined former Operation Ivy and Common Rider frontman Jesse Michaels to form Classics Of Love, who released the Walking In Shadows EP that year on Asian Man Records.

In 2011 Hard Girls put out the split 7" Boo with Kudrow. In early 2012 Classics Of Love released Classics Of Love on Asian Man; Hard Girls followed with the nine-song Isn't It Worse on Really Records and a split 7" with Summer Vacation on Asian Man and Recess Records later that year.

With Classics Of Love on hiatus, in 2014 Asian Man put out the Hard Girls album A Thousand Surfaces followed by the compilation Hard, which collected tracks from Hello and their split releases. The digital EP Dulcet Tones followed in 2016 on Quote Unquote, then the 2017 album Floating Now on Asian Man.
