Swedish musician and songwriter, born 22 July 1943 in Gothenburg, Sweden, died 12 October 1995 in Härryda, Sweden. Played together with Hugh Cornwell in the Swedish band "Johnny Sox" in 1973. When Cornwell moved back to England, Wärmling stayed in Sweden but was later drafted into the early line-up of The Stranglers (late 1974 to early 1975) but went back to Sweden after a few months. According to Cornwell, Wärmling wrote the music to "Strange Little Girl", which became a hit for The Stranglers in 1982.
