    German composer, conductor and pianist, born 31 January 1917 in Berlin, Germany, died 19 May 2002 in Vienna, Austria. Famous especially for the theme song of the TV show "Die Sendung mit der Maus". Hans Posegga was a very versatile composer. From chamber music to opera to oratorio, from jazz to Latin to experimental music: Hans Posegga left his mark in all these genres.
